Drawing on that heritage, she took the beloved, hand-finished look of the signature Belgian loafer and reimagined it as a lady-like handbag, complete with the same delicate bow detail, in a range of jewel-like colors. Each bag is sized just right — roomy enough with a crossbody strap for daytime, refined enough for evening — and handmade in New York in limited quantities, in exquisite leathers from saddle ostrich to ox-blood snake.
